Charter The Train
You can charter the entire train for your party, birthday, wedding, etc. with our “Charter the Train at the Museum” program.
The train runs from our station in Boulder City, Nevada westward for about 4 miles along the historic Boulder Branch Line constructed by the Union Pacific Railroad in 1931 to bring equipment and material to the Hoover Dam construction site. Passengers ride aboard newly refurbished and air conditioned Pullman coaches. An open air coach is available for those who choose to enjoy the outdoors. Passengers experience great views of the sprawling Eldorado Valley, the River Mountains, the McCullough Range, and many fine examples of Mojave Desert plant life and cacti, with occasional appearances by rabbits and lizards!
A Dining Car is available as well. The car can seat up to 48 people. Its kitchen has refrigerators and food preparation counters – ideal for catered meals. The train is available Wednesday through Friday. Rates are based upon a minimum two hour charter, with additional charges for each additional hour. The train has a capacity of 200 people.
