Become a Volunteer:

In addition, if you choose to volunteer, we have many opportunities for various positions and projects. At the shop, there are the constant repairs that are needed to continue operations with our elderly equipment. There are restoration projects that have been initiated by individuals and by groups. In conjunction with school visits, we provide docent presentations. We provide volunteers for all of the station and train operating positions. And, of course, we provide training in railroad operations via a progression through the various positions. But best of all, we have fun.

We provide educational programs in conjunction with schools, carry out restoration projects, assist in maintenance of the train equipment, and provide crews for train operations.
